Clipping As A Process Of Lexicalization In Hausa And Yoruba Numerals

The paper is aimed at discussing some of the morphological processes in Hausa and Yoruba

numerals, where the clipping picked out as an icon among the processes which also plays a vital

role in producing the Hausa and Yoruba numerals. And linguists use the term morphology to refer

to the part of grammar that is concerned with words and word formation. It has however been

defined as an important aspect of a language and also one of the branches of linguistics that

studies the internal structure of a word that governs the word-formation rules (WFRs) in any

    language.
